Happy New Year.
Jan. 1st, 2005 12:37 amOne of my favorite phrases ever was coined by Gary Trudeau: "To the '70s! A kidney-stone of a decade!"
Every December 31, I find myself reminded of that. Really, I've had worse years than 2004--2003, 2001, 2000, and 2002 all come to mind. But I hate ending each year thinking "This has been another kidney-stone." So let's have a good 2005 and keep the calcified bits of history out of the nephrons of our consciousness. Peace out.

Anyway, the best thing to do with those calcified bits of history is to piss them away a little at a time, so learn from my experience, kiddies, and start a-whizzin'. You'll also want to drink lots of metaphoric water.
