Jan. 1st, 2005 12:37 amOne of my favorite phrases ever was coined by Gary Trudeau: "To the '70s! A kidney-stone of a decade!"
Every December 31, I find myself reminded of that. Really, I've had worse years than 2004--2003, 2001, 2000, and 2002 all come to mind. But I hate ending each year thinking "This has been another kidney-stone." So let's have a good 2005 and keep the calcified bits of history out of the nephrons of our consciousness. Peace out.
