Gaming comics

One of these days, I'd like to do a full write-up of the gaming comics I read. One of the weirdnesses of my life is that two of my favorite comics right now are both extremely geeky comedies about gaming which are deliberately poorly drawn--Order of the Stick, with its Fisher-Price-meets-Cynicalman mininalist D&D adventuring party, and Knights of the Dinner Table, with its endless photocopied panels of five people sitting around a table. And I really love both PvP and Dork Tower, sentimental slapsticks about ubergeeks.

But this week, my hat is off to Aaron Williams's Full Frontal Nerdity, for introducing possibly the most needed and least anticipated concept in gaming: Maslow's Heirarchy of Gaming Revenge. Bravo.

Uh-oh. I just read it all, from Strip 1 to the present, in one sitting. I'll probably read FFN every week from now on. Damn you Max Powers!
