RIP: Courageous Catt, 1991-2004

Our beloved cat, Courageous, finally succumbed to FIV this morning at around 6:30. She had been steadily weakening for the last week or so, but we believe that she was in little or no pain until she finally died of anemia.

I hope to be able to write more about her over the next few days. She was a superb cat and we will all miss her terribly.

I'm so sorry! Your household has been hit with a tremendous amount of grief this summer. It's like an Italian opera -- and every Italian opera seems to contain the word, "curaggio!" (which I'm probably misspelling but what I mean is the Italian word for "courage").

I was privileged to have met Courageous on more then one occasion.
Truly a fine cat.
Also, a very lucky one.
I have often said that our pets lead shorter but wonderful lives. However, I realize that is contingent upon who it lives with.
I can say, that in all honesty, this is one cat that hit the jackpot with the three of you.
You did great honor to her during her lifetime, and even in your grief, you should be proud of yourselves.
