Back from Florida

Just to let you know, the three of us have just returned from nearly a week in Florida for the International Conference on the Fantastic in the Arts. Despite complications that had nothing whatsoever to do with the conference itself, we had a tremendous time.

Now I've got a metric buttload of freelance work, paid and unpaid, to tackle. Makes me wish I had the easy jobload of Richard Clarke in the wake of 9/11.

I'm both sympathetic and a little bit envious, since I have too little freelance work and you have too much. Granted, part of this is that I'm almost done with my major unpaid project of the past year.
