Signs of the season
Mar. 4th, 2004 01:28 amWithin the past five days, I have a) seen an attractive woman in shorts and b) been complimented on not waiting until spring really arrived to switch into sandals.
Now I'm just waiting for the first groundhog, and spring will officially be here.

Date: 2004-03-04 09:29 am (UTC)In this neighborhood, we have robins, flowers, squirels, and from time to time, we have moles, pheasants and even wild turkey (with feathers, not in a bottle) but no groundhogs.
Just my 12-year-old.

Date: 2004-03-04 09:39 am (UTC)I did see a really cute live skunk about a week ago, but they don't hibernate, so that doesn't count as a sign of spring. For that matter, I doubt that Vicki hibernates, either.
