The original 1950 version of Ghostbusters

Ah, they've finally released the orignal Hope-Lewis-Martin-MacMurray version on DVD. Why do studios insist on remaking perfectly good films?

I had seen the 1950 "original" of The Empire Strikes Back making the rounds, but this one is quite good, too.
