From kip_w, trying to come up with a shorter and pronounceable alternative to autopope's "Nobody Is Paying Me To Correct Their Misconceptions On The Internet":

YCETI: You Can't Edit The Internet.

I assume it's pronounced either "eesettee" or "whysettee". But it's definitely useful, either way.

I dunno. Doesn't the existence of Wikipedia defy the idea of YCETI?

If we need an expression for digitally tilting at the web's windmills, though, I'd suggest the XKCD catch-phrase "Someone Is WRONG On The Internet!" We can go with SIWOTI ("see woe tee") if you prefer.
