Recession Pricing
Dec. 15th, 2010 10:52 pmThe price of my monthly MTA (commuter rail) ticket just jumped 10%. But they managed to squeeze an extra 2% out of me by discontinuing the online discount that they offered.
It's not a huge amount of money, all-told (though over the course of a year it will add up to a few hundred $), but I hate how the Great Recession is slowly (or not-so-slowly) strangling government services, especially the servicesI use that encourage better methods of living, as public transit does.
