nellorat refers to it as "the bees"). On The Media was playing, and the article was "Googly Eyes", a discussion of Google, China, data mining, and IP tracking. The guest, Tim Wu, was discussing software approaches which are under way to make it possible to somewhat obfuscate your Google history; the best one right now requires rebooting your machine to activate, but, he said, for internet cafes and other situations, a group is working on a program which you can just load from a flash drive to help protect your privacy.
