John Crowley's Little Big: Special Edition

Probably all of you who know Little, Big know that later this year, a small press is publishing a deluxe 25th anniversary edition. We've decided that since a) our finances are pretty stable, b) nellorat is likely to do more scholarship on the book in the future (in addition to her paper for the ICFA last year) and c) our tpb is probably one reading from falling apart, we're going to splurge on this and have a nice lasting edition. (Reason d), that womzilla has occasion unhealthy attacks of IT MUST BE MINE-ism (tm John Kovalic), shall not enter into this discussion.)

Anyway. The time has come to actually put money on the table and order the thing. And I noticed something interesting: It's very easy to get substantial quantity discounts. To wit, one gets 40% off the $95 cover price for ordering a mere five copies.

So, it occurs to me to ask: Does anyone else want to go in on a bulk order and save some bucks?

I was listening to the BBC Friday night, and the newsreader announced that US Secretary of State Condeleeza Rice had cancelled her scheduled trip to Indonesia and Australia in case she would be called upon to travel to Israel as part of Ariel Sharon's funeral delegation. It also mentioned that she had called Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to tell him that the sympathies of the American people were with him and with the Israeli people.
