Performers Whip Easter Bunny At Church Play
Minister Says Play Wasn't Offensive

[Glassport, PA:] A church in western Pennsylvania trying to teach about the crucifixion of Jesus performed an Easter show with actors whipping the Easter bunny and breaking eggs, upsetting several parents and young children.

In a CNN interview retired General Barry MacCaffrey said that the task of the US is to regain control of Baghdad and restore its lines of communication in the South. He gave away a great deal. One may conclude that a) the US has lost control of Baghdad and b) the US communications and supply lines in the South have been cut. That is, a year after the fall of Saddam, the US faces the task of reconquering the country...

Remember that. Right now, Kerry is winning. His victory is not inevitable, but right now, it's the way the polls are leaning. So let's not hear any defeatism from the Kerry side.

Kerry Maintains Lead Over Bush

John Kerry continues to maintain his lead over George W. Bush among Americans registered to vote according to a nationwide survey from the American Research Group, Inc. In the ballot preference between Kerry and Bush, 50% say they would vote for Kerry and 44% say they would vote for Bush. In March, Kerry was at 50% and Bush was at 43%. When Ralph Nader is added to the ballot, 48% say they would vote for Kerry, 43% say they would vote for Bush, and 2% say they would vote for Nader. This is unchanged from March.
