Powerpuff Girls Marathon

agrumer:
On Friday, April 16, Cartoon Network is having a marathon of Season 5 of Powerpuff Girls. There's a new episode at 7 PM, and then from 7:30 to 2:30 they're showing all of Season 5. including the episode which premiered at 7. Most of these episodes have only been shown once before, and you can fit it all on one T-160 tape.
From 2:30 to 4 AM the marathon continues with the last three episodes of Season 4, but those have been rebroadcast more often. A good episode list can be found at TV Tome. One of the standouts from this season is "City of Clipsville"; while several shows have done "fake clip show" episodes (including both South Park and Clerks, both of which were so metafictive they made my head hurt), the particulars of this one are terrific.
The only downside is that they're showing the episodes in mostly reverse order, which is annoying because there is a small amount of inter-episode continuity which gets violated that way. But hey, it's seven straight hours of bug-eyed heroines with ultra super powers, so you know that's good eating.
