A political commonplace

Atrios (that name again) linked to a Matt Drudge puff piece promoting a new book. The book, Losing bin Laden, by Robert Miniter, is about how Clinton had dozens of opportunities to take out bin Laden but failed to do so because... well, because he was a bad person, as nearly as I can tell.

I think we can safely count on the book not to note, for instance,
