If you feel strongly about a primary candidate

Give money. The four weeks between now and Super Tuesday will be decisive, and elections run on money as armies run on food and oil.

Also, seriously consider volunteering, especially if your state is one of the 32 with a primary before or on Feb. 5.

And tell people who you're supporting, and, more importantly, why. Get people engaged. They might learn something, and so might you.

I donated to John Edwards yesterday, and for the same reasons you give here.

I like John Edwards. He evinces the progressive spirit I share, and he's willing to fight, another spirit that the Democrats have been lacking for years. He took a cheap shot at Clinton on Monday, and I'm disappointed in that, but it doesn't change my vote. And his wife has a spine of iron and a gut of steel; any man worthy of her is worthy of my vote.

(The difference between Republican spouses and Democratic spouses in this campaign is, I think, telling.)

I took that political quiz, and I most identified with John Edwards. But I just don't care that much. Mostly, I don't want Hilary Clinton. I really liked John Kerry. I know, I was one of the few. I just don't like this bunch of people. Any of them. Except maybe Joe Biden, but I don't think he should be President.
