I'm thankful to have a loving wife and a loving husband; a colony of wonderful rats; a job where I get to be smart all day instead of having to dig ditches, and which pays well; so many good friends I can't keep up with you all; a great family; a city of sights, splendors, and gastronomic adventure; more good comics and books and movies and even television than a sane person could consume in a lifetime.

Way to go, world. There's still a long way to go, but look at where we are.
