I am:
-2%
Republican.

Are You A Republican?

I came out 2% republican, and highly disappointed that it's possible to score less republican than I did. Continuing their mathematical excellence, they called me "pure liberal." (wouldn't that be 98% liberal?)

Spinning a serious observation off of a silly quiz, it's kind of amazing that the former editor of a libertarian magazine can score 2% on a "How Republican Are You?" quiz.

Um, there be no right answers to too many questions.

A woman's place is doing what makes her happy - caring for children is just as valid as working.

A fair tax scheme should tax people's uses and not their receipts.

The Bush family is about your typical political family - corrupt, uncaring and interested in control and power.

Hitler was a deranged radical, who was charismatic and picked up the huge resentment to the Versailles treaty and turned it into a national agression.

Social Security should never have come into existence, but since it's here, we'd best not renig on the idea.

The Israeli/Palestinian issue is, really, land. Palestinians are using the same tactics the Jews used for the foundation of Isreal to try to get back their land which the Jews swiped when they ran and hid. fair compensation, fair districting and fair elections could rule the area, but neither side is going to be fair.

#8 is a good start with holding people accountable, but, in addition, we need to take pro-active action to curb the already extant greenhouse gasses, which means planting a mess of trees. We chopped down one lung of the planet, when we cleared North America to farm it, and we have to find a way to build a new one.

Reagan, of course, was a charismatic leader who played the rebound of the tax and inflation disaster which was the late 70s. Like Bush, he was interested in power and getting the country to work was his means to get there.
