RIP Cinnamon, 2002-2004, and a Cheerful Thing to Counterbalance It

I've been incredibly busy since, say, mid-October, but I had to post today.


Cinnamon, the last of the Powerpuff Rats (three sisters born to Missy Moodle in August 2004), died today of presumed lymphoma. She was sick for several weeks, first losing weight, then mobility in her hind legs, then all mobility, then all.


My dear nellorat made Cinnabun the "Rat of the Day" early this year, and I don't really have much to add except that Cinnabun was a very sweet girl and a good mommie.

I was looking at old photos of Cinnabun and came across this outtake from "A Christmas Tale", our nigh-legendary photoessay of Christmas Eve among the rats. And this cheered me up.

I'm so sorry to hear about Cinnamon. But it is true that she will live on in our hearts through her special Christmas performance. She was a wonderful rat and lucky to have had the chance to be with you.
