kent_allard_jr has posted a link to an
amazing review of an almost
unbelievably bad role-playing game. I'm used to my kith and kin in the tribe of role-playing game enthusiasts being, well, less than perfectly evolved supermen, but the game reviewed here is like taking every stereotype ever attributed to, pathology ever manifest by, or social miscue ever committed by any RPG geek ever in human history, sticking them in blender, and starting the blender with your hand still tangled in the blade.
It's the role-playing game that the
Eltingville Comic-Book, Science-Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, and
Role-Playing Club would play if they completely lost all touch with reality and human decency.
This game alternately saddens and enrages me, and dear god I hope no one ever sees this game and thinks that it's typical of RPGs or the people who play them. But I'm sure that
someone will.
