I am embarrassed to report that it took me 32 years to notice that the verses of the Police's "Walking on the Moon" have same structure (and roughly the same scansion) as Gil Scott-Heron's seminal "Whitey's on the Moon":

Giant steps are what you take
Walking on the moon
I hope my legs don't break
Walking on the moon
We could walk for ever
Walking on the moon
We could live together
Walking on, walking on the moon

A rat done bit my sister Nell.
(with Whitey on the moon)
Her face and arms began to swell.
(and Whitey's on the moon)
I can't pay no doctor bill.
(but Whitey's on the moon)
Ten years from now I'll be payin' still.
(while Whitey's on the moon)
