Safely in Montreal

Uneventful flight. The combined walk to and wait at incoming customs was almost longer than the flight. I saw the Mighty Krugthulhu in line and joked with him in passing--I said I had an overwhelming urge to say, "Aren't you Thomas Friedman?". Shared a ride to the convention center with two fen I met in line for the taxi, one of whom transpired to be Harriet McDougal, in just for two days. Am about to head to my registration and my first panel, which unfortunately is scheduled opposite the John M. Ford memorial panel, which Ms. McDougal is on.
