Well, it's a real start
Jan. 17th, 2011 10:49 pmFrom my collection I have culled 21 long boxes of comics to sell off or otherwise discard. (That's about 5000 individual comics. Holy shitballs.) When I was midway through the process, Saturday morning, whenever I closed my eyes I would see comic boxes falling into place like Tetris ominos.
This is the first time in my 28 years of comics accumulating that I have sold comics in quantity. I have a lot of work still ahead of me before they can actually go--I have to catalog and sort them before any dealer will consider buying them. But the hardest part, emotionally and mechanically, is done.
