Spam count

bruceb, I've been keeping a closer-than-usual count of my spam this month. I meant to do a mid-month tally, but I'm a couple of days late.
For the first 18 days of July, I received 3748 pieces of e-mail (208 per day). 1881 of those were from several high-volume mailing lists I'm on (boardgame or SF related, mostly). Not all of my mailing-list e-mails are sorted in that count, though; there are a few lower-volume lists that I don't bother to sort at the procmail end.
Of the remaining 1867 e-mails, 1239 pieces were automatically quarantined by Spamassassin as definite spam, with I think one false positive from an E-bay seller; about 56 pieces were flagged as probable spam; and another 53 pieces of spam slipped past Spamassassin into my main inbox. That's 1348 spam--about 75 per day, constituting 35% of my total e-mail and at least 80% of my non-mailing-list mail.
