womzillaThe entire nation has been freakishly warm this past month--PZ Myers of Pharyngula linked to a map demonstrating the Mean Temperature Anomoly nationwide. The entire Northeast was around 8 degrees F higher than average over the month; the upper Great Plains were 16 degrees high.
Even granted that, it was something of a surprise to see a woman pumping gas in Pleasantville yesterday who was wearing a short-sleeve shirt, flip-flops, and Daisy Dukes. Not unpleasant, no, not at all; just surprising.
